Mukaihara Sake Brewery which founded in 1909 (Meiji 42) by volunteers from Mukaihara Town, Mukaihara Sake Brewery is known for its unique sake brewing using rice unique to the region. However, in Showa 57 (1982), it fell into financial difficulties and was rescued by a business group led by local resident Tamaji Shibukawa.
As a result of focusing on quality improvement, the company won the Gold Award six times at the National New Sake Appraisal Competition in the Heisei era.
Boasting a history of more than 100 years, it continues to be loved by the locals as the only sake brewery in Akitakata City.
Weekdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm (about 30 minutes. (Participation is free, tastings are charged).Up to 5 people.
